Just wondering has anyone done any comparisons with the FTTC fibre broadband suppliers. It's being activated in my area next month and I am very keen to upgrade from my very slow ADSL internet connection. BT Infinity seems to be the cheapest @£21.00 per month so far. Does anyone know of any supplier who is cheaper? I'm looking for a download allowance around 40Gig per month. 12 month contract is fine. A combination of telephone and broadband would be OK if the total bill is less than £30.00 and includes evening/weekend calls and caller number display.

Plusnet Fibre should undercut BT, in line with it's ADSL pricing. 40GB from £16.49.

Bear in mind that 40GB won't go very far at fibre speeds.
Dare I mention TalkTalk?
Edit: Sky are also entering this market at around the £20 mark. So BT will (as usual) be the most expensive option.No free lunch, and no free laptop

As FTTC is apparently coming to my exchange next month I thought I would have a look around to try and answer your question. There is a list here: http://www.robertos.me.uk/html/isps_offering_fttc.html
And I was about to recommend Zen as I was with them many years ago (before swapping to BE*), but there prices are astronimical.
