Vodafone contacted me today to inform me that my contract was up for renewal. They are trying to sell me the Galaxy S2 for a reduced price, and now I know why.....The Galaxy S3 is already in production and due for release in April/May. My advice to those in a similar position to me is, wait! The S3 has a quad core processor and a stunning Hi-def screen resolution. Aaahggg…it’s going to be the longest 2 months I’ve ever had to wait.0

Thanks for everyones input - I am aware that the S3 is due for release soon but wasnt too fussed about having the latest model as I would also be paying the latest price and I think the S2 will allow me to do exactly what I want once I have mastered it !0

The S2 is technically better than the iphone 4.
Its better value for money.
It's not an iphone social wise though and more importantly harder to find accessories such as docking stations inc hifi's etc on the high street.0 -
I have an galaxy S2 got it last March when they first come out, a month or so ago my galaxy would not switch on what so ever, battery was full (tried it in my son's) I was gutted, a couple of months previous i cracked the screen on it, so had it mended via insurance, when i downloaded the form to send it off this time, they wanted £50.00 excess.
I was annoyed that I had this phone less then a year and it was'nt working, so I did a seach
Seems the Galaxy S2 has a guarantee and it is for 2 years, so as it was within a year the phone stopped working I was able to take it back to phones 4u who sent it off to Samsung and it got fixed for nowt.
After a year it is your responsibility to send it off to samsung, but hey I did'nt even know that the phone had any warranty on it till I investigated.
PS Samsung are one of only a few to give you 2 years guarantee0
