Blackberry Battery Discharge
Did anyone have a problem with their Blackberry phone battery over the weeknd? On Friday night my Blackberry Curve battery which was fully charged completely discharged, couldn't switch it on at all. I would have thought this was something I did but then on Saturday night DH's Blackberry Bold did the same. Wierd. We are both on O2 so was it something RIM sent or O2 or do we live in an odd spot?
Thanks for any information.

Has he tried taking the battery out, while the phone is on, and putting it back in again?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

For the later blackberries there is an OS 7.1 push happening by RIM which fixes a number of problems including battery issues (particularly 9900).
I'd recommend you update to 7.1 if your device supports it as soon as possible.0 -
I had this happen to my 9860 overnight. Had to use my other phone next day. Charged it up and its been ok since.
If you hold down the BB button it shows you what is running in the background.0 -
We have tried, taking the battery out and putting it back in, OH taking it back into Tesco store today to ask them to fix it.0
