Aww thanks everyone

I've never been much of a baby person so it's all a huge learning experiencefor all of us, but it's worth it
Someone asked about my  reaction - don't worry, we did know (he was planned!), but I don't think the whole thing quite sunk in until he arrived. Of course it didn't help that he started making his entrance in a big hurry - only 5 days early but I had been led to expect labour to last much longer than 4 hours for a first time baby! Still, hospital car parks have a lot going for them, right?
No, not quite but it was a close run thing - I only had 2 more pushes after we got into the hospital and there he was. So much for my planned pain relief :rotfl:
Sorry if I'm not making much sense, this sleep deprivation thing has a lot to answer for, at least that's my excuse!0 -

Congratulations slbhill
Look after yourself and your new baby!! And don't worry about the lack of sleep, you'll get used to it ~ you'll never sleep properly again

getting used to broken sleep is quite a shocker for sure... and the fact that men can sleep through nearly everything, whereas I hear a creak and spring awake, lol.
Amazing labour hun, really well done, I've had 3 sections, and am always astounded how quickly some Mams can spring back after labour.
Take your time, relax, forget house work and sleep when baby sleeps, esp if your are feeding yourself. Try and rest instead of rushing around like crazy for visitors or trying to get lots of things done.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxMy light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0
