Our existing contracts with T-Mobile are about to end. We aren't keen on renewing as we weren't entirely happy with the coverage.
Both the wife and I have Samsung Galaxy Aces which we are very happy with so we are looking for a service without a phone (either PAYG or Contract)
o2 have traditionally offered us the best coverage for our usage closely followed by Vodafone. We have o2 Broad and, so like the idea of sticking with them for mobile and getting a further discount.
I travel a lot so spend a fair bit of time on the phone to the wife. Previously we have been known to clock up about 10hrs of calls to each other a month. Other than this my call and sms usage is minimal but spontaneous.
Beyond calls to me , the wife's call usage is around 200-300minsand 50sms.
We'd both like to continue using our phones for a bit of facebook etc.
So far GiffGaff seem to tick all the boxes. But we wondered if we have missed a trick with bolt-ons or overlooked any other tarrifs or networks or smaller virtual networks. We understand that we will not get a broad and discount if we opt for GiffGaff.
Any advice would be welcome.

Only you can decide, if that ticks all your boxes then go for that, O2 simplicity suits my useage as it includes mms and texts from abroad as part of my bundle with proper unlimited data, but everybody's usage pattern is different, it's not a case of one cap fits all, GG would work out very expensive for me.0

Well, I was going to link to a website I found useful when changing networks but it appears I can't post links as I'm a new member. It's called bestmobilenetworks if you want to find your own way there somehow.
As an aside, I had no idea that virtual networks even existed until recently.0
