No bike storage at my apartments?

Hello, wasn't sure where to post this!! I'm currently living in a privately rented apartment with my partner. It's a fairly new complex with gated entrance etc and we pay £550 per month.
There is nowhere here to store bikes though which I find quite unusual as there's at least 20 flats here and a lot of young people/students. We have had to store our bikes at my parents house on the other side of town. Quite annoying as sometimes I fancy just popping on my bike to go into town or over to their house. Can't store them inside due to space and there are no rails outside that we can just chain the bikes to and put a waterproof cover on.
So my question is, should I call my property management company and see if they can get some kind of bike shed put in. Do I have any rights as someone who is renting? Would I be better trying to speak to my estate agent or landlord? I know they sell bike storage racks on ebay for like £30 so I wonder if it's even worth just buying one and asking the property management for permission to put it outside somewhere.
Thanks in advance and sorry if this seems a bit trivial but I do miss my bike!

i think buying a rack and asking permission to install it is the best idea.
or try an idea like this?

To be fair, I've never known any flats to have space for bikes. I knew a guy years ago who had a small studio flat and he had his bike on the wall on two brackets.0

This is my fourth apartment and the last three did have bike storage
maybe I got lucky.

With the sort of low life's that are around today, they would probably steal the bike and the bike rack that it is chained to.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
TBH I think this is the sort of thing you should have considered before you move in. Is it far from the shops? Does it have parking? What's the view like? Where will I store my bike? You can't expect to move in, then demand changes - evidently everybody else in the block manages.0

I'm surprised that a fairly new development of 20 units a) doesn't have cycle storage and b) it wasn't a condition of the planning permision that it be provided. Might be wth checking with the local council.0

The development I live in is over 20 years old and although it did not originally have a provision for cycle storage, we did put in a secure storage area in one of the car parks a few years ago (we own the freehold too, makes thing easier!) on the grounds that it would be much better than having people either randomly chaining bikes all over the place or putting them on their terraces. Contact the management company and ask if there's any plans for cycle storage, and if not, asking permission to install you own is probably the best planNow free from the incompetence of vodafail0
