    Hey, who knows, we may end up whispering sweet potatoes to each other :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    I know - I keep thinking that I'll do it at the weekend, then the weekend comes and there's soooo much to do inside that I can't even think about outside (we have a huuuge garden - for London - and it has been sadly neglected over the years :o:o:o )

    Did you watch Grow your own Veg on BBC2? - that was our inspiration (the book is fantastic and I thinkn I saw somewhere that The Book People have it for a fiver.

    I can see a new thread developing.....

    Oh naff the lot of it, I have had a heck of a day, managed to get some things done but not all, but thankfully DP has took DS2 out with him so in a mo I shall chase DS1 to bed and do the rest. I had loads to list on eBay but I can't find half of it :o so not a good start on that, have done some of the rest, my thought, not worth the hassle to save 10p as there will be another listing offer soon (hopefully) well that's my excuse anyway.

    Hope everyone else is doing well :)
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

  • God, its been a hard day!!

    We live at the bottom of a big hill that has a kind of nature reserve/farm type thing on it. I thought to myself wouldn't it be a good idea to take the kids to see the animals. That was my first big mistake!

    The second was wearing my trainers and not my wellies, the third was taking the double pram and the fourth (and possibly biggest) was to let my DD get out of the buggy and run around!

    Oh the mud!! It was everywhere. At one point me, my trainers and the buggy got completely stuck. In the end I had to call for help!! I nearly died of embarassment!

    Theres mud everywhere at home and to top it off, DH called to say he had to work late and wouldn't be home till about nine-ish.

    Morning . . . and a beautiful morning it is, too!! :j

    As promised - a huge list today and in no particular order - none of it particularly housework inspired tho.

    DS2 and I are off to take him to Uni tomorrow - four hour drive away and I'm not coming back till Sunday!

    * Laundry - about four loads - Three done and on clothesline
    * Clean up back door/laundry area (kitty litter spread for miles; muddy little paw prints; pooey puppy blanket [she had a bit of an accident during the night :( ])
    * Finances - statements printed off so far
    * Walk puppy
    * Pick up waratahs from friends house for puppy fence
    * Work at 10.45am
    * Library
    * Get map of city we are going to tomorrow
    * Banking
    * buy two soap cases
    * get OH to give the car a once over before we leave
    * Ironing
    * pack my bag
    * finish sorting and packing DS2s bag
    * get duvet covers sorted so each bed has one plus two boys have one each to take away with them
    * Going out for dinner tonight - yay!!
    * bound to be various other things that crop up during the day

    * Oh, and I'll do the hot run thru the WM after all washing is finished :)

    OK - so it doesn't look like much but it WILL take me all day! I just know it!

  • I agree with the hard day.

    Was at my sisters most of the day, and we managed to get another 10 wedding invites made. We will get there. I'm pleased with the flying that i got done this morning, but haven't done much tonight.

    Recycling has been put out, and baby change bag repacked for tomorrow. I prepped some veg for tea, and it is just roasting in the oven. Baby has been a bit of a grump. Mainly every time my sister went anywhere near him :rolleyes: . It meant he didn't sleep much all day, but he was in bed for 7. ;)

    I'm not likely to be in for very long tomorrow either, as i go to playgroup and visit the rellies. I'm also supposed to be going for a long walk with my sisters and the kiddies - on the bright side, i won't be making the house dirty.

    I'm just going to keep plodding on at my own pace here, with the plan to get there by Sunday night.

    We will all get there.:D
