i only use the timer if i'm struggling to be motivated. today, for instance, being my day off, i thought i'd give the living room as long as i could. it looks good though, and the best thing is i know the bits i can't see are also cleanMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Evening all,
I haven't quite managed to finish todays list so will carry some onto tomorrow, which isn't too bad for me as I cleaned the kitchen before I read todays list, so I aim to tackle a couple of hotspots in the kitchen.

2. [STRIKE]wipe down all worktops, cupboard doors and appliances [/STRIKE]- did today:j
3. clean out fridge and clean firdge door seal - again did today but i avoided the drain at the bottom of the fridge, will look through the posts to see how I clean this (seem to remember something about vinegar but will check)
4. [STRIKE]run wm empty on a very hot wash [/STRIKE]- did at the weekend
5. [STRIKE]clean kitchen bin, splashbacks, tiled areas and clean floor [/STRIKE]- again did today
6. [STRIKE]need to hoover and dust the dining room[/STRIKE]
My list

There was a thread yesterday about this, will try and copy the link
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=380085&page=2&highlight=rice+pudding
It was the delia smith recipe (but i did not add the nutmeg as did not think littles would be too keen) I also bunged it in the slow cooker and gave it a stir every hour or so, took about 4 hours in mine but its ancient and only has one setting.competitionscafe wrote:Delia's recipe is nice and that uses a tin of evaporated milk - makes it very rich and creamy: http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/old-fashioned-rice-pudding,1145,RC.html0 -
Welcome to all newbies (I can't keep up)
You will be amazed how quickly things will look much better.

tidy coffee table0 -
Okay I've given up on the ebay listings tonight at 21 new items  Thats only 2 boxes worth (half a box worth has gone in the charity box!). Going to tackle the hotspot which is paperwork again (must remember abscent note for DD), then off to bed. I'll roll over all the jobs to tomorrow when everyone will be out my way
I don't even want to think about the dishes which still aren't done, or the state of the floor in the kitchen
Moggins...please don't come around :rotfl:
Right...off to tackle that paperwork! Night Night :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Right LR done, but not immaculate, will tackle it more this week but probably chasing my tail with half term, but I did manage to clear out a sack full of 'paper waste' for the recycling, from catalogues to phone books which were stashed in table shelf in living room, I am going to ask them not to send me them, we use the internet. I am hoping to list more on eBay tomorrow, (I should really get this Turbo lister thingy) but am out 9-2 (event plus travelling) at a carers support event (I get holistic therapy while kids play in soft play
win both ways) then there is the list to do. Argh! Right here goes tomorrow.
Dailies
Moggins list
eBay listings
Do DS1s room (he managed to do very little at weekend, DP helping hopefully)
Shop for few items
Night time stuff
That'll do! Right off to bed in a mo, night night everyone, see you tomorrow. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I suspect alot of you are already tucked up in bed......well, except Denise ("morning") who will be well into her morning jobs;)
I'm just doing a few more jobs and the nightly routine then I'm off for some much needed sleep............
Today I've:
Got littlies up/fed/washed/dressed and took dd to school (leaving dh lounging in bed as he decided to have a day off! )
Built a lego firestation with ds
Done 2 loads in the WM - need to put another one in - one in the TD
Made a chicken and vegetable pie for dh and the littlies dinner
Cleaned our bedroom - windows/sills, doors/frames, skirting, vacuumed, cleaned the wardrobe, the switch plates and sockets, the TV and wiped the picture frames round.
Scrubbed the wooden floor in the bathroom
Moggins list? well, I did manage to do the landing and stairs
Then at lunchtime I went to w**k where I found that the head of our reception had been sacked! I hope they're going to replace her soon as they expect the rest of us to cover until they do.
So, now I'm off to finish whatever it is I have to do if I can remember before I fall asleep....................

Evening All,
Well to be totally honest, i have not done a lot today, as i had quite a busy day yesterday and did a lot on todays fly list. so i have sort of chilled out today. The good news is my thing on my face has gone down a little ( without being to graphic it has burst 3 times today ) still very sore but not quite as swollen, fingers crossed that it is easier tomorrow and that i'm on the road to recover. Wanted to say thanks to all that have sent thier good wishes. on the flip side OH has not been to good today think the pain has kicked in now.
