Ooh bravobeastie I do hope our damsel in distress is in your part of the world what a lovely thought:-)The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
All year through0 -
It's no problem, as long as they wouldn't be too embarrassed by the last 3 letters of the reg reading NAN lol. It's Tornado red so looks the part (very ashes to ashes)0

Wonderful act of random kindness.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0 -
what about a VW camper or beetle? check out facebook for local owners clubs, VW owners are very lovely and Im sure someone would do it for petrol costs, and it would make the coolest photos!0

We went to Bicester outlet village at the weekend.
Big disappointment. Not a huge number of prom style dresses available and the only dresses we saw that even remotely fitted the bill was over £3000 pounds and that was the reduced price.
We thought we'd hit the jackpot when a friend of a friend offered the loan of the perfect dress but it was a size too big but at least we know what we are looking for.
DD is size 8, tall and slim. She doesn't want a strapless dress as she will be worried about it slipping down. It needs to be fitted to the waist and long, soft and flowing but not "puffy" (ie no nets) although she would settle for a shorter dress but not as short as the one we've got.
We've been looking on-line but I'm a bit worried about whether they will fit well enough.
We're working on the car but it seems that doing something different isn't part of the prom ethos as DDs school - mores the pity.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0 -

Do you have a TK Maxx nearby?. The one we got is absolutely stunning and it was marked down to £38(looks like it costs £380)
It fits her like it was made for her and it was the only one so should be quite unique. She absolutely loves it.
I was so relieved when we found this as all her friends are talking about spending hundreds of pounds and she was non too happy when I said no way to that amount.0 -
Think we've found a bargain. Went to a dress agency and found a dress for £10. It's very plain so we are going to take it to a dressmaker and see if she can add some diamant! type detail.
Just got to go back and collect it.
Not as good as her friend though who found one in the returns section for £4.50. All it needs is a few stitches in the shoulder and it will be as good as new!.7 Angel Bears for LovingHands Autumn Challenge. 10 KYSTGYSES. 3 and 3/4 (ran out of wool) small blanket/large square, 2 premie blankets, 2 Angel Claire Bodywarmers0
