calls from accident companies when we havent had an accident!

    Yes I had an accident, I was walking past one of your tents and it fell down on me, I couldn't remember the name of the company due to the memory loss suffered as a direct reason of the accident.

    If you are registered with TPS then next time you get a call or text, string them along until they send some details in the post or tell you their company name and address (use a made up name if you like).
    Then report them here http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consumer/ giving full details of the company involved.
    I did do some years ago and the company was fined £250.

    Firstly, register with TPS. (http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html)

    Secondly, if you do get a call, please treat the poor caller with respect. They're just trying to do a thankless and badly paid job.

    Do mention the TPS and ask them to remove your number from their list.

    OK, after the 28 days from your TPS registration, the company is fair game.

    PS. The TPS doesn't cover unsolicited text messages, BTW.
    The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)
