They are terrible adverts in my opinion and I wish that they would change them. I quite like the Halifax ones though.

I can remember one from the early 90's with the office junior filling up the cash dispenser,

"Its just like loading a photocopier only the paper's more expensive"

Not sure which bank it was, but I think it was actualy a recruitment ad. I also seem to remember it got spoofed on a couple of late night satirical shows.

Can't remember which bank it was (might have been the old Midland Bank), but mid 80's one bank offered a "new type of bank account". I remember asking for a new type of bank account, but didn't get the one I wanted (one with some money in it :rotfl:).

Some things never change.
