We all have to walk in badly lit areas I am afraid.
Obviously not, as some people have supporting families.
I'm starting to think you're a troll. Almost all of your posts have randomly assigned capital letters that make it look like you're in a perpetual state of emotional breakdown.
Is it hard to understand that your situation is not identical to everyone out there? For christ's sake, your other post mentions spending a £2.50 'pay rise' on soap. £2.50 is about 15% of my weekly food budget. Soap costs me 35p a month. If that was a joke, a bloody good one it was.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

Soap costs you 35p a month? Wow what are you using? I have very sensitive skin & suffer from ezcema too so can't use just any old soap.0 -

My apologies then. Still, £2.50 a week sounds like it would get a good deal more than a bit of soap unless you need specialist stuff. I don't know of any brands that cost more than £2 for a single block.
I use bog standard T Value soap, 35p for 3 blocks. Though more often than not I just go for whatever's cheapest at the time between shower gel, foam bath, soap or whatever related product. All does the same thing at the end of the day.
The scared comment is a bit daft isn't it now. If the guy wants to drive his daughter around, what's wrong with that? Seems like you're just jealous you have to walk...Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

.... A new Poundland Store opened here in Morecambe a few weeks ago and 470 people applied for only 20 jobs.
It's ridiculous, even the advisors at my Work Programme provider say that the local job market is awful. "Stagnant" one of them called it.0 -

I suppose I'm playing devil's advocate a bit here, but isn't it a bit misleading to state figures like the above, when people don't just apply to one company?
In university applications, prospective undergrads apply to 5 universities. In a sense that means that you have 5 applicants per place even if everyone gets accepted. In reality it's more like 6-7 to 1. But the vast majority of people still get a place.
Doesn't mean it's not hard to get a job, but I think these "applicants per position" statistics are meaningless without a benchmark to compare to. What were the figures like in say, 2005?Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

We all have to walk in badly lit areas I am afraid. Maybe your brother could walk her to work as he don't seem to be busy. Haha!
I am looking for the SAME job I have done for the last 20 years thanks, its called ACCOUNTS!
I am 'here' as I have the lap top on 18 hours a day, looking for work if that's ok with you. I only look back here every now and again.
You are the one with a job and you are here! LOL
Why don't you apply for one of those Tesco work experiance jobs? you might get a job in Accounts from the work experiance you do for them its worth a try??
Also why are we bringing family into this issue?

The soap comment is meant as a joke as I live payment to payment as it is and have no £ to buy stuff that I really want let alone need & have run up a mega debt on a credit card so £2.50 makes no difference at all and will not even be noticed
You don't notice £130 a year? Your debt must be pretty 'mega' then. 1% of £13k.
If it makes no difference at all then I'm sure there are many people who would gladly take it from you. Perhaps a local charity.
I understand the comment was a joke but really, £2.50 is not insignificant. You're talking about a 3.5% payrise.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

She's obviously living in a world where people live happily and cause no harm to anyone. I wouldnt let my daughter walk the streets at 6am on a winters morning to work. Maybe you should come over to my county and see the location, distance and possibly dangers! Its called risk assesment. All the big powers they've silenced me.
