Well done! I think I would have filed it in the bin, via the window, before now!!!

You're more than welcome! It is worth mentioning, if/when you do sell it, not to give them the cd/dvd you created to re-install windows, as that is just a clone of your sisters netbook, and I'm sure she'd not appreciate that!(asidde from the obvious issues with personal data etc)

You might want to mention that there is no active recovery partition/discs too, to whomever/where ever it is being sold on. Whilst it might not make a difference, and may actually reduce the price slightly that you get it, it will cover yourself in the future as you'd expect to get those/be able to factory reset if you bought it. (Or at least I would)

When you're super sure it's clean, and ready to sell, run a complete malwarebytes scan as well as a virus scanner, and use some of the many software out there to take an inventory of your netbook (ie what is actually inside there, processor, speed, memory, HDD etc) and keep a copy of those yourself. This just means that is some ejit decides to do something dodgy through ebay or something you can prove it yourself.

AND I know, going a bit OTT, I've told my mother to film her working netbook down to shut down, through to being packed. Just so that in case someone does try it on with This is scratched all over" or "this arrived non-working" or "this is virus laden" or "there's spyware/malware running riot" or "It only came with one memory stick" and "I want a refund/big discount or else" threats will not happen. idk, not that I don't trust a lot of ebay buyers, but sometimes prevention is better than cure! :D

If you want to do it properly, you need to do a full disk image of the other laptop, restore it to this one, then factory restore it, then use ccleaner with the wipe free space option - if you don't use the wipe free space option some data can still be recovered
