:mad::mad: just written my list and lost it twice... if you had seen the size of said list you would understand the madness!!

    Morning all
Busy day today, back to school tomorrow :j:jI'm shattered!
    • WM & DW on over night
    • Hc on airer no TD needed as DS remained dry all night :T
    • heating on low everyone has woolies and thermals on
    • take DS to the new pool for a free swim, will shower/hair wash there to save gas at home. Fingers crossed DS takes to the new pool and I don't have any huge tantrums to deal with
    • Ys top side of beef for lunch with the works, all from stores. Will save some beef for pack ups and make some fairy buns whilst the oven is on.
    • Make pack ups for DD and DS, get bags, PE kits, school shoes ready in the front porch for the morning
    • Must tackle the mountain of ironing thats taken over the living room, DD uniform is in there somewhere :o
    • will pick up 2 for £2 milk from asda on the way back from swimming as it's on the way and I cancelled the milkman on friday :money:
    • Help DD with her homework and hopefully learn something myself :rotfl:
    • Use my stash of bargin bin photo paper to print out DS pictures for preschool
    • Must bleach the bathroom and scrub the floor, DS aim is slightly off :eek:must work on that one :rotfl:
    • quick hoover and dust, will send DS around with the tickling stick
    • if time/energy levels permit do some more of ds jumper
now for a quick cuppa before I tackle that lot!
if you see me on here before 8pm please tell me to stop slacking!

Well this weekend has been a right mixed bag. Managed to complete the list I had:
    gym
    dog walk
washing and dry on airer x 2
    sort out front garden
    levelled the ironing mountain
Usual cleaning bits for the weekend
decluttered study and a load of filing
self manicure and pedicure, plus various other self beauty type things
Sorted the paperwork for getting the new tenant into the house
Opened Halifax account to make this the new joint account for bills (£100 handshake plus £5 a month for the anti-Santander fund!)
Meal plan plus Mr T run
Also remembered to take all empty cans to Mr T auto sorter thingy to get more points

and included some other delights - row with DH over soap powder of all things which resulted in unplanned spend cheering us up with lunch from M&S. Actually it of course was not about soap powder it was about him speaking to me as if I was a particularly idiotic child - he even admitted it didn't work last time so why the bleep bleep he thought a repeat performance was necessary is beyond me. As a consequence the house is immaculate as I was so upset I stormed through it cleaning like a whirling dervish, washed paintwork, light switches, mopped, hoovered, dusted, kitchen, bathroom, loo, hallway, study, both bedrooms, living rooms, you name it I cleaned it (if we have it), all doors were washed down, both sides, about the only thing I didn't do was clean the windows. I even mucked out the conservatory (read dumping ground)

Achieved timely conversation with next-door, finally managing to convince them as their washing machine emptied its contents via the pipe to their BLOCKED drain so spewing their dirty water and soap over the shared driveway it was a problem for them.

Managed to bag a few bargains on evilbay following the wardrobe clear out so might have some things to wear that are NOT black. Some of these are not strictly necessary like the suede jacket but I wanted one when it first came out and now I guess I have one.

Right - so off to sort out clothes for tomorrow, and have a cuddle on the sofa with the dog, then do garlic chicken for tea tonight, remains with be frozen and used in fricasse as some point.

Laptop, phones etc to be charged at work tomorrow.

It's called Meter Readings - I found it in the finance section of the app store. I did pay for it:o Not MSE, but I'm challenging myslef to lower the cost each day so hopefully that'll save us money;)
It took me a while finding the exact costs of my gas/elec per unit etc...confusing with different prices, but once I'd sussed that it's been easy peasy.

Thank you I'm going to give this a go! I've found a free android version though so might not be the same one...

I need to decide tonight what to do about that job app too. I spoke to the recruiting manager and she is really interested but now it's come to it I don't know what to do. Turns out the increased salary is cos it's a diff job - recruitment agent had the wrong spec! It's a totally different thing to what I'm doing now so a bit of a gamble, esp cos the company isn't as good to work for benefits-wise, but the are going to pay me more so I kinda think I need too go for it given our current money situ...

How much higher is the salary? If it's a few hundred more, then you're probably better off where you are but if it's thousands more, I'd personally go for the higher pay. Gotta be worth a shot right?
