Does anyone know of an easy to use software program for business card design that I can download for free?

Hi,
Cant find anything for free, so to speak, but was there something specific you were after?
Any half decent graphics program should be able to do this for you - even microsoft Paint, although granted, its not the easiest thing to work on graphics with - but I have used it to some success to compile adds (my photoshop had crashed, and paint was all I was left with!)
I might be wrong, but are you thinking of printing your own cards?
If you are, slight word of caution. Hone PCs etc are very advanced now-a-days, but unless you have a good printer set up, you will struggle to equal cards produced at a pinters.
And printers are not that badly priced really.
Do not skimp on the production of your business cards - they represent your business, so should look the part (but ok, that said, dont go mad and spend thousands!!)
Sorry if Im on the wrong tack here - just thought best to say it etc etc
All the best

I bought a pack of blank business cards from a stationary shop with the web address where to download printable templates from (a Word doc) supplied. You can use your own photos of graphics instead. After printing the cards, they press out and have a perfectly clean edge. The result is nearly as good as professionally printed cards (just a little thinner). When I find out what the brand is I'll update this post.0

The problem I always have with the "print your own" packs are that when you "press them out" they always retain the perforated edge and so look rubbish...
Also, if they feel thin and flimsy, then what does that say about your business?

Most business card printers will throw in artwork or charge a small fee, just ask around.Kind Regards

Just got some press-out one's from https://www.decadry.com. They don't have the usual perforations and are good quality card.0 -
vista print will do a free sample batch (pay postage).
Don't know the url, but google for it, go on their mailing list, and before long you will get the offer.
professionally printed and only a couple of quidI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
vistaprint.co.uk
i've used them for cards and they are v reliable and have a good selection of templates , i think you may be able to design your own0 -
VistaPrint cards aren't bad if you opt for the Premium ones, free ones aren't worth bothering with since they state "Business Cards are FREE at VistaPrint!" on the back of them........
If you need a large quantity though, Vistaprint becomes expensive compared with some printers.0 -

Aha yes Decadry is the one I meant in my post above. They are a bit thinner than professionally printed ones but the edges as I said are very clean. You can download a Word Doc template from their website that exactly matches the press-outs to assist designing your own. We got very good results, comparable to the real thing.
Works out at about 12p per card but the ink will bleed if it gets wet.
Useful if you envisage changing the card details occasionally or want cheap ones to hand out a lot. Costs double if you get preprinted ones by mail order.0 -
12p per card?!
I can get 5000 double sided business cards printed by a professional printer for £70 at the moment...
Try http://www.promotionalprint.co.uk/ or http://www.printempire.co.uk/
Well worth the money if you get a decent design done.0
