However, I'm not sure if I had PPI on this account.

Phone them up and ask :) or wait for the letter they have been told they must send out ;)

    hi,
would a SAR letter be the best way to go for someone that has no account numbers? my equifax report had no a/c numbers on it. if so would i need to give previous addresses when i had the loan/credit cards? i'm not sure where to start without the a/c numbers
    many thanks,
    Norf

How long ago were the loans/credit cards active, if ended more than 6 years ago a SAR may not shed any light :(

Can I just ask a quick question. I'm just putting things together to try and claim back from HSBC and I was just wondering which address you write to?
    From their website:
    HSBC Bank PLC
    Regulated Sales Complaints
    120 Redcliff Quay
    Redcliiff Street
    Bristol
    B51 HU

Fill in your Ombudsman consumer questionnaire, write a cover letter and away you go!;)
