BT Reliability Issues

My BT internet keeps crashing when i try to use it. It used to happen every so often (once a week) now it happens every time. The other night I reset 7 times before i got bored and quit.

When I call BT they suggest pressing the reset button on the hub which does work. Am I asking too much for wanting to use the internet without it crashing?

I have spoken to other people who have BT and they have similar problems.

I may be a problem with your line especially if you live far away from the exchange- I'd make sure you've got micro filters installed etc and state that you want an engineer to look at the line.

It can make a difference if you don't switch off the router at night (in other words leaving it on all the time) as well.
