The policyholder has to disclose in cases where a loss has been caused by a previous named driver.

(But if the cover for the day was provided quite separately to the OP from his Mum's policy, then she need not disclose it)

You are wasting your breath, he will come back and troll any advice you give.

That's not how its worded for online quotes. It only asks about drivers currently on the policy.
  • Im not on mums policy. Not even the same insurer.

I bought a days insurance from another company.

    Fully comp policy

    Excess was 500.

What arrestable offence is this? Now im scared.

I wont claim - will get it fixed privately.

    Btw car is owned outright.

From the above, will mum have to disclose and have her premiums hiked?
  • Im the op btw to remove any confusion

    No.

However you will need to disclose this to any insurer you approach for a quote, or if you are a named driver on another policy, then the policyholder would need to disclose this as part of your history.

Nothing is arrestable, calm down, we just have a vicious troll dragging things from other threads.
You unfortunately have to work on the assumption that the other party will put a claim in.
If they do and you have not informed your insurance they may refuse to pay out.
In this case I would report it to them, pay the excess and get them to repair mums car.
If the lorry company bang in a claim for a few thousand at least it will be covered.
It will not effect your mums insurance as she has not had an incident, you have.
