It's happened a few times to me as well and like you I just politely apologise and send them the money, I also tend to refund them the original P&P (if it's not too much) by way of apology and compensation for their time and the hassle factor.0 -
What a bummer. Why are some ebayers so keen to leave a negative without any attempt to resolve difficulties by communicating?
That negative is very unfair but all you can do is leave her a factual and unemotional negative in return, post a factual and unemotional comment on your own negative and move on. You may be able to contact her and agree a mutual withdrawal of both negatives. I don’t know the procedure for this but no doubt someone else does and will post.
Stamps and stickers do fall off as that has happened to me once. I handed the parcel over the counter, the clerk printed a sticker and he stuck it on but it must have fallen off at some stage as the buyer had to pay excess postage. £1.29 for the actual postage charge plus £1.00 penalty. I refunded the buyer the £2.99 p&p charge and he left me a positive. I took one look at the refund claim form the PO gave me and binned it. It would have taken me less time to beg for pennies in the street than jump through all the PO hoops.

I asked seller for the £1.37p as a refund and she has left me neg feedback  the feedback said
Recieved payment but are wanting money for postage when i have payed P+P allredy

I havn't left her feedback yet because i hate giving bad feedback
You need to get over this or others will walk all over you
but now i feel i should but how do i word it? I have proof she didn't pay, there was no postage on the package and the sorting office gave me a receipt.
I'd suggest something along the lines of "Nice item (assuming it was) but underpaid postage and refused to refund me xs I paid"
Now i have a neg feedback and i was doing so well with all my feedbacks
As others have said, don't worry about feedback - you now have nothing to lose. Be polite and factual and most decent e-bayers won't worry when looking at your records on this transaction.Gwlad heb iaith, gwlad heb galon0
