I got 2 super kings and a single from Trafford centre store also bought plain cream duvet covers at £24.99 I think. Had other plain colours too. Does anyone know the weight of the wool in these duvets I looked all over the box but couldn't find it.

Was anyone else cold last night. Thought these were supposed to be all season temperature adjusting! Maybe they need getting used to. Not so sure they would be okay in the cold winter.

As the OP I can say that I have had mine quite a while now and found if its chilly it works best if, when you are getting off to sleep you sort of "crease" it on either side of your body a bit like a mummy. Then you soon get toasty warm go to sleep and after that - no problems!
    Hope this helps

The most you can hope for are clues.....:)
  • Thanks Zippy and khs123. My quilt has been fine since 1st night. Wonder if the wool has to "fluff out". Anyway its dead comfy. Loved the mummy suggestion. If it gets dead cold in winter and all else fails may look at the 500+ weight. Hmmm now all I need is another sale........

When was the last time a duvet was delivered, is it worth me holding out any hope for my order last weekend?

Just phoned Dunelm. I ordered a kingsize duvet on 19th Feb. Got a confirmation e-mail saying it would be delivered within 5-7 working days. Since then, nothing.

The very helpful lady told me that the wool duvets had been very popular and that they had sold out very quickly. But they have managed to obtain more supplies from the manufacturer and they will be honouring my order. I can expect to receive it some time next week.

I phoned them today as well. I ordered a king size and a single on Sunday 18th Feb and although I had a confirmation email, I was getting a bit worried as they haven't turned up.

Lady assured me that the order would be sent out next week.

After reading some of the posts on here, I just hope I will be warm enough - I really feel the cold!

I am so upset - I asked them by telephone if they could get any more stock and they said no! I have called so many stores near to family that could pick up for me without success and now they say they can get them? I'll be back on that phone yet again tomorrow!
