I had a meeting today with my lovely cake maker ( who is a good friend as well as the owner of a fab business) and the ball is well and truly rolling on that front.

Hi dolly I'm from Dunstable !! I am struggling on the venue front too, maybe we can give each other recommendations!! I'm going to see two venues tomorrow, one in eaton bray and one in Bedford. Bedford is a bit far really but looks lovely
. Have you got any local venues in mind??

I think I've found 'the one'!! The barns hotel in Bedford. We LoVe it!! The 13th century barns is stunning. More than I'd hoped to spend bit not extortianate. Yay!!! Going to try and check out a few more venues in the next fortnight just to be sure but for me I can't imagine they'll compare
. Bellows mill was ok but the viewing was a complete and utter shambles. She couldn't find the key to the barn so told me to look through the window! Erm how about no, this is only one of the biggest days of my life!! Lol. Went to the wedding show at the nec yesterday- mayhem!!!
Hope everyone is doing ok?

I was bridesmaid for someone at the barns, lovely venue! Am not gonna put you off at all but just make sure they know EXACTKY what you want. Bride was telling me that they forgot to sort out their recieving line as they left the barn and some of the meals got mixed up ie veggies got meat etc. Im sure yours will be fab but I wouldnt be a good MSE-er if I didnt share expereinces! Its a loveky venue oh and the brekkie is yum! LOL
Try www.bigbopperentertainment.com. Damian is doing ours. I knew him 10 years ago and stumbled across him again on DJ search. Lots of experience etc. Give him an email, x0
