i wandered into work towe have got loads of fabricy bits in and glitter balls and stuff so might be worth a bit of a look, its a charity so it is all very cheap (and i generally work fridays if you fancy popping in and saying hello)

Hey all can I join in here pretty please, Dunstable not mk but hopefully close enough!!
I'm so new to this, newly engaged, went and picked my ring yesterday and now Argh where to start!?! So much to think about!

heya Nic
of course you are welcome to join!
any piccies of the ring? (we like piccies lol)
first thing is to sort out the budget and rough guest numbers then find a venue
are you looking to get married in dunstable or somewhere else? The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
In all the cluster and excitement I didn't take a pic. Have already been told off by all my friends last night hehe. It's being resized and I'm picking it up sat so will post pics then. Yay v excited it's so sparkly
budget wise we do want to do it pretty cheap, bit at the same time I still want a nice venue. I do want to do it locally but doesn't have to be in Dunstable (not much choice!). I so quite like puttering bury just outside Luton. I've also seen the barns hotel in Bedford and it looks lovely. But have only seen it online so far so will have to go and investigate. What about you? When/where etc?? Eek I'm likely to become a pain asking lots of stupid questions as most of my friends aren't married and I've only been to one wedding before lol x

do you have any idea of how cheap?
im 20th october at bletchley park mansion house
if you are willing to go to bedford have you looked at any in MK there are loads of lovely ones around here
any idea of the style of the venue that you would like? and any date or ideas of when you would like it as that will make a big difference to the cost
come and chat on here loads - this is my only weddingy chat place as well as none of my friends are 'in that place' yet lol
and i like stupid questions they usually make me think about something i've forgotten!!!!!!!The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Ooh that sounds nice. I'd like mk I think but just wasn't sure of where there was. I really need to get to some local wedding faures I think. Do you have any recommendations? Ideally i don't really want to spend over £7k. Preferably less! I've also been eyeing up a beautiful dress for a while. I took a pic of it sat but need to try it on. I saw it a while ago and just adore it. How do you post pics here?? I'm thinking a nice manor house/hotel/barn. I'm torn between summer or winter lol!! I've never been one of these girls dreaming about their wedding since they were small so I'm really not sure. I like the idea of summer for pics outside but I also love the idea of a cost reception, cracking fire, lots of candles etc. Hmm!! My fianc! isn't too fussed he said he just wants us to be married and so he doesn't have a strong opinion of what he wants.0

Hiya,
Putteridge Bury was my uni! LOL! Its a nice house, beaiutiful but a lot of the inside has been changed into meeting rooms and plasterboard etc. Not usre on all of the building tho so I would go see it.
Been to wedding at barns. lovely venue, I was bridesmaid there. There were a few minor mess ups by the staff tho.
DP was best man at Bletchly, it was lovely!
Ours is hopefully going to come in at under 1500! eek x0
