You need to post your kWh consumption going back more than 2 days-go back to when you moved in in August. That will give 6m consumption, with a good split across the peak and low seasons in order to pro-rata it up to a year's consumption. That's the figure that is significant-not what you use in two days in February. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

I can go back to the original meter readings when the standard meters were installed around the start of September.- Gas was 0 units or 0 kWh
- Electric was 45311 kWh
Therefore my usage since September until 15/02 works out to be.- Gas 1098 units or 12476.208 kWh
- Electric 3784 kWh

Gas was 1098 units, converted to kWh (using units x calorific value (40) x correction value (1.02264) / 3.6) this worked out to be 12476.208 kWhGas reading was 1115 units or 12669.373 kWh
That is not really how you work out gas consumption. You are over complicating it.
You subract 1098 from 1115 which gives 17 cubic metres which you then convert to kWhs.0 -

12,500kWh gas over 6 months covering much of the winter is not unduly high, your annual usage should be well under 20,000 kWh.
Your electricity usage however is extremely high. In 6m, you've used more than would be expected for a house with gas CH and DHW in a year. That's what you need to investigate. Immersion heater switch left on 24/7?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

I still get the same answer, the reason I have done it the complicated long way is that is the way I have been taught to do all my calculations show every step in detail and convert in to the required measurement scale before working anything else outthen review using the short method, that way you are sure to get the correct answer, unless you do something very wrong.0
