Vent - M&S screw Scotland!

Visited M&S site today and saw they have 25% off purchases of 6 bottles of wine or more in store in England.

Thought nothing surer than they would have reduced all wine by 25% in Scotland (they can't sell multi-buys here due to our legislation).

Gutted to find no reductions in-store.

So it seems M&S says "Screw you, Scotland".

I wouldn't be surprised if the Scots don't find that there are a lot of disadvantages (as well as advantages, of course), in ploughing their own furrow.

It will certainly be a case of swings and roundabouts.

Think on, you Scots. When you're faced with your referendum and your devo-max stuff, just ask yourself this: What about the price of multi-buys in M&S? That's the crucial question.

Oh dear, nae cheap wine fae Markie's.

The benefits of being Scottish far outweigh a discount on wine! :rotfl:

TBH, Scottish people, it's your own fault. If you weren't such a bunch of pissheads, you'd be allowed multi-buys like the rest of us. :D

You have shops open for decent long hours on Sundays up there. More than makes up for it. :p

And you have all that beautiful scenery. Not to mention the Orkney Islands which I visited for the first time last June and had an amazing time.

If my family and work weren't darn sarrfffff I'd be heading north in a heartbeat. :(
