We got a question about this eBay item in French and wondered if anyone knows what it means?

bjr etes vous fabriquant je suis horloger revendeur vos pendule m interesse en quantites avez vous catalogue avec tarif merci

Babelfish translates it as:

bjr etes manufacturing you I am a clock and watch maker retailer your pendulum m interests in quantities have catalogues myself with tariff thank you

Hmm, I think they are trying to flog you a wholesale list. maybe this is a variation on the 'hi we're in China and can supply you with many cheap electrical goods' spam?

<sigh> never did manage well in my French lessons though, so could well be something entriely different.

No it's the opposite, soolin - they want to resell the OP's products. Bizarre French though - no punctuation, weird grammar. Don't know that it's a native speaker.

That's great, thanks for your help!

We're neither the manufacturer, nor able to supply these in quantites - we bought it for a customer and they thought the colour was slightly different from the picture and apparently, they couldn't accept such a difference!

Meaning we're lumbered with an expensive clock! God I hate the internet
