But as you are new here you may not have noticed his prior history... or perhaps you are not that new after all..?

I don't know, nor do I care about his prior history.
I read the OP and it's an interesting proposition "Would you take a pay cut to save jobs in your Company?"

Then poster number 2 (an obvious troll) butts in and even gets 2 thanks for his efforts :rotfl:

    Anyway, nevermind....

As I said above, I would take the hit, but it's not really straightforward, is it?
In this particular case, I see the company has been running losses for the last five years, so one can only wonder whether or not their business model is sound and if there's a viable future for the firm. Maybe it's time to just shut the shop?

In many smaller companies this has often been the case. As better to have a job than none at all. Retaining all staff members also means business is uneffected trading wise. .

OH, I see now what a TROLL is - it's a poster like Crash_Bang_MuppetMan!! A sad, lonely, loser in other words?

I get it now, well - clearly - I am far from being one of those as everyone with half a brain cell knows!! Phewwww, that's that sorted!
