I refer you to post 15.
A heating engineer to fit a twin channel programmer and thermostat and TRV's if you want.0 -
Hi.
You are coming at the problem from the wrong direction.
You need a controls pack of some description.
Not dissimilar to the advice previously given.
This will give you electrical control over the boiler and actually switch it of when not needed. AKA interlock.
You can add TRVs to fine tune your needs.

Yet another case of it all being our fault. We don't give the answer you think you require so we are wrong.
PLEASE take the advice given re adding proper controls. All together now, "Always look on the bright side of life..." :whistle:0 -
If you have a motorised valve, you won't have to have rads on in summer to heat HW, you don't beed TRVs for that. Also, it's possible to get a sensor fitted outside that is linked to boiler but I forget what it's called. TRVs work OK but they don't turn rad up and down you have to alter the settings yourself. If you're good with computers though you could install a BMS system to do it all for you eg Trend, Landis & Gyr, Staefa, Honeywell etc.0
