That means roughly two every second were snapped up by people who could get through to the site.

I typed in my details at 1500 when the link went live, entered the site at 1501 and got this

Me too, I kept refreshing in the run up to 3pm and at exactly 3pm it went live & with a few quick fingers I managed to get one.

I can't believe how people were expecting these to hang around long, 1000 available compared to how many 1000's of people who receive Martin's email and knew about the offer!

I managed to bag one by refreshing the page, it went live bang on 3pm. Strange to read now that they had gone so quickly, I filled out my details as quick as I could, but was by no means super fast at it!

The link to the offer went live dead on 3pm and the first 1,000 MSE'rs who applied got the freebie. All 1,000 packs went in 57 seconds.

The freebies were always going to go fast - we had around 3,000 people sitting on that page at 3pm for 1,000 freebies.

Radflek was well prepared for this promo and went to great lengths to handle the traffic from MSE.

Well done to all those who managed to get a pack.

Rather than criticising MSE and Radflex I think we should be thanking them for being prepared. The first 1000 people were able to successfully log their details and register. In so many other offers websites are simply overwhelmed by traffic and simply crash - leaving everyone frustrated.

I also managed to get one. I was on the site a few minutes before 3 and refreshed the page dead on 3 o'clock (iphone clock). I had my e-mail address copied to the clipboard ready to paste in as i knew this would take the longest to type in. Should have kept that quiet for next time but don't want to be greedy !

I was refreshing the page since about 2.57... It had no change on my pc for 2 minutes after 3pm, and on the 3rd minute it said they'd all gone. Wahh... I was sad... but I thought it'd be popular.
