*FREE* Radflex Radiator reflectors

Hi all

There were a limited number of packs available - there were around 3,000 people on the page waiting for 1,000 packs with more people coming and going and these went in 57 seconds.

They were always going to go super quick - it's impossible for everyone to get one but it was a genuine offer with 1,000 up for grabs.

Fair play to Radflek for being able to deal with that much traffic - it went to great lengths to make sure it would be able to cope

Like many others, i came on here specifically at 14:58 to attempt this offer, and continuously refreshed the page. Literally as soon as it appeared, clicked on link and low and behold 'Afraid your too late'.

Is this some sort of joke or scam, or just a very clever way of Radflek promoting themselves..? Don't hold anything against MSE by the way, nothing at all. All my frustration focused at Radflek. Just imagine how many hits their website must've had -- thousands!
Don't think I could have been any quicker, probably missed out by milliseconds! It would have been interesting to know the seconds rather than just '00 minutes' though.

Looks like a trip to Wilkinson's... They have Sealfast Energy Saving Radiator Reflector Foil 5mx50cm for £7.95. :T :rotfl:


Update - just read latest info that they went in 57 seconds. Interesting. I got through to Radflek's page via the link way before 15:01 and still said was too late. Hmm.

I applied at 3.00pm exactly,so why was i not one of the lucky ones? they emailed me and said they had gone in 57sec?? I'm not buying it - or there rad covers.

I was also lucky enough to get hold of some. It's not surprising how quickly they went considering the number of people Martin's weekly email is circulted to.

I went online at 14.55 and kept refreshing the page, it went live at exactly 15.00 (I'd even called the speaking clock to check!!) With a bit of fast-ish typing I managed to get a set which surprises me seeing as I now see they went so quickly!!

Got home at 3.30 sad to see they had all gone but realised I was unlikely to get one even if I was sat at home at 3pm. What is radiator foil. I would like to know how this stuff works. Interesting that Wilkos sell something similar.

I was lucky to get one, too - and, having already bought and fitted these to several of the radiators in my Victorian (so no cavity wall insulation) cottage, I know how effective they are. This free pack will finish the job nicely!
