*FREE* Radflex Radiator reflectors

Hi, did anyone get a spare set of the Radflex Radiator reflectors they don't want please? Link went live at 12noon today on the MSE site.

I think the Radflex website must have crashed, and I only have t-o-r-t-o-i-s-e speed internet access at work (not that I should be online mind you!) :rotfl:

Please PM me if anyone was lucky enough to get through and bad a free set they don't really need!

I live in a freezing cold rented council flat with no double glazing on the 3rd floor up in a flat above a row of shops, one of these packs would be greatly appreciated!

And I'm on a DMP with CCCS so please don't say just go out and buy one yourself....

According to the MSE page they ran out. This was about 12:10pm.

Yes the Radflex site crashed for me too.

That means roughly two every second were snapped up by people who could get through to the site.

A little bit suspcious?

When I eventually got through to the site which sat not responding guess what all the packs gone. :-(

I see the MSE site link has been altered to say:

1,000 free £10 radiator reflectors + 20% off code

UPDATE: All the free Radflek radiator reflectors were gone by 12.03pm today, however you can still get 20% off online.

12.03pm? My browser hadn't even connected to their website, grrr! :mad:

Yes, I wonder how genuine the thousand-pack offer really was.

3 mins, 180 seconds, 1000 packs, over 5 taken per second from a site that was crashing?

Not blaming our MSE friends for this, but a bit suspect for the company involved...

What a joke. I clicked the second the link went live and kept refreshing until I managed get to the site saying "We are sorry you just missed out on the FREE offer!" Well good luck to those who did manage get one, that's assuming there was really 1000 they gave away.

I couldn't get through to the site till 12.22 but I see the price of a small pack is quite low and 6 sheets, would be enough, according to them for up to 12 rads so you could even share them with a friend and pay £6 each or so.:j

I did not manage to get through either. The link only went live at 12:05 on my screen and when I got on it they were gone.
