  • Hi Mum,

What a terrible virtual friend I am - as I haven't been on very much over the past couple of weeks, I didn't realise you had started a new diary and so just thought you hadn't been updating yours :o

Shiny new diary (not so new anymore but hey ho) :T

Hope you are both feeling much better and that DD has picked up a bit ;)

Slowly getting rid of this chest infection after about 5 weeks... and a reserved seat at the GPs... only now to come down with an absess and a face that looks like I'm doing a hamster impression. At least got GP 2mor!

Good news, got one of my OU assisgnments back and got 79%, so means I've passed half the course, just one more assisgnment to do, which I feel positive about..... (that is till I look at the assisgnment!!).

    Parents evening 2mor..

Money going in, thou be going out twice as quick! xx

I now need to stalk my dentist - The GP thinks I've got an infection in the bone of my jaw so wants the dentist to take a look.... that could be a fun wait. Theres 3 dentists in our pratice, the one who I'm under who is lovely, but he works part time, the 2nd my ex dentist - who damamged some teeth and the 3rd one iis her husband.... So I see the hamster look becoming fashionable.

Give this GP today his due, he said this bug being going on long enough!! so got to go and have a chest x-ray and blood tests 2mor, came out with more antibiotics to tide me over the dentist and more steriods, I'll just rattle, and got to gp back in a week...

Money wise - mamaned to get another £120 paid off my debts, not going as brilliantly as I wanted, but every penny helps.

Next payout Friday - but I've got he computer being sorted at last so not looking forward to the bill from that, got £50 towards it from when we had the banking saga, reckon it be £100 to £150 in total, he's setting up new one, fixing keyboard spare, and then repairing the case on DDs, as the dog broke it. Trouble is its an expense could do without out, but cheaper than me doing something and causing problems. A one off expensive we'll cope with, as how paymennts fall I get an extra £100 this month, so that should balance out. xx

Chest-xray done got to wait 3 weeks for the results!
Blood Test - they took 4 vials of blood!

    -
    money front - no developments

    -
new saga - mums chairlift - we had 2 engineers out, between them they spwnt 8 hrs here, - within 2 hrs the damm thing broke again, it is a farce, - its 18mths old it was suppose to have been replaced at 12 months, but the company that fitted just replaced some parts. Its basically been written off, but not offically we have to wait for the right boxes to be ticked.

-Help - we now have date middle April for court hearing, - been allocated a day, not looking forward at all to that.

-Dentist - rang them as the doc things its a abseus, can I go in 2mor.. nearly passed out! xx

Got through the dentist ok, there wasn't anything he could do as the absess is not nice, he's not sure how deep its gone into the tooth, so he's taken an xray today and I have to go back again next week for treatment on it.. Its a case of keeping up the antibiotics - I don't walk I rattle.

The stair lift saga - they sent an engineer out this morning, bless his heart it was one of the blokes from yesterday, he was surprised to see us so quick, we also had the people out that arranged the stairlift in the first place. They told the engineer to fix it again and hope it holds, - he told them the firm won't fix it as its too dangerous, and its condemmed as far as there concerned!

So after a lovely morning with all that, they have now all agreed the chair lift is a write off - its only 18 months old. We've got some firms coming out Monday to assess the job.

    xx
