Best way of storing MP3 files + photos?

Only the 256 mb one which holds roughly 64 tracks. Good idea though.scheming_gypsy wrote:has she got a MP3 player? if she's a decent one she can put it all on there. The chances of losing the mp3 player and the computer breaking at the same time would be slim.0 -
get a USB external Hard drive - I have a phillips 250 GB and it holds all my files, music, photo's password, internet fav's etc. So if my PC does crash I only need to install the OS and some app's (which are also saved on the external..)

i use a usb memory stick at the moment and am looking into an external hard drive because ive got lots of songs and videos that need storing safely. I would already have one i just dont have the money. Definately would go for a usb hard drive though. If possible buy an internal hard drive (cheaper) and chuck it in a hard drive caddy (around £15) i have found that buying a complete external hard drive to be expensive.Like what I said? click thanks!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Probably more storage than you will ever need but try this on offer at Maplins:

should fit on a DVD or 2, if you want to backup the PC properly, use Norton ghost or acronis trueimage, and burn to DVD.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

cheap DVD burner and DVD-R disc. Should cost you no more than £20-30. And once you've got it, you can burn as many dvd-r discs till your heart is content

Usually about 70-80 cds worth which is about 90 hours worth so should be plenty.0 -
