I feel the same! I've had everything booked early and every things been sorted. I've not been worried until the last couple of days. I'm having trouble sleeping and am a little short tempered! Still I've only got to wait until Friday now. I just hoe the weather holds out for all of our weddings after all we have waited for long enough :) I hope everyone has a lovely day x

EEEEEK!!!! FRIDAY!!! you are even sooner than me! :D good luck and let's all just keep our fingers permanently crossed for the weather on each of our days!

Look forward to all your photos, they've been lacking this year so hope to see some from all yours.

Ahh thank you Ajax and good luck when your month comes! It will come round VERY quickly, believe me!

Daisy, I barely slept last week! I finished work on Tuesday and felt like I had so much to do I was up every day around 6.30 and couldn't fall asleep in the evening because my mind was full of everything-lists of things I needed to do, remember to pack, worrying about the day and people not enjoying it... The only time I actually switched off was when I went to have my nails done. If I had known that, then I probaby would have booked a massage as well so I had more time to switch off.

I'd definitely second Caz's idea of trying to distract yourself and relax, you need some time for you. You're a million times more organised than I am and everything worked out for me so you'll be fine! For example we made our seating plan on Friday morning! But once it got to Saturday I was so calm and relaxed I think I freaked everyone out! I remeber telling the wedding coordinator to call me if she needed anything-think I was trying to take the work away from her!

Thanks Laura :) Glad I'm not the only one.

Ok, it is time for what will probably be a bit of a 'brain dump' so please just bear with me....!!

Had a lovely weekend although got unexpectedly very drunk and disgraceful on Friday night :o which meant we felt awful Saturday. OH just lounged around and had a PJ day but I had to go have a girly afternoon with my mum...we picked up my dress (EEK!) and bought a new veil :o:o:o After me being perfectly happy with my £17 veil off EBay I suddenly decided no, it wasn't right. I had a big wobble about it, was really scared to tell my mum and built it up into such a big thing that she thought I was going to tell her that I didn't want to go through with the wedding! When she realised I was just talking about the veil she said "well that's a relief, we'll just buy another one then!" So we bought one at the bridal shop when picking up my dress.....£90  but as my mum said we have spent so much on this wedding already, it needs to be right. I then had my first bridezilla moment on Sunday when I had a tantrum because my sister said the new £90 veil was exactly the same as the £17 original eBay veil :o:o:o OOPS!

My dress is currently hanging up in the spare room (formerly my bedroom) at my parents' house...looking beautiful!! :D

I have various last minute bits and pieces to do this week but nothing too stressful...I don't think! Took my engagement ring in to the jewellers to be cleaned and polished today....OMG I don't get it back until Thursday and I feel so weird without it. But at least it will be all sparkly and beautiful on the day :)

I ran around doing lots of errands this morning and then went for a massage and a facial this afternoon....soooooooooooo nice! Hopefully I'll sleep tonight. I didn't again last night - I feel fine all day, not stressed or worried at all, but as soon as I lay down my head starts buzzing and I start worrying over the silliest things. I am also coughing at night which I REALLY hope doesn't turn into anything!

I am also a bit worried that we aren't going to have many extra evening guests :( I think we will have about 15, maybe 20 tops. There are a couple of friends who have already told me they can't make it and a few others who I think just won't turn up but won't tell us in advance. Boo! Hope it doesn't feel empty in the evening. There will be between 90-100 people there and the room isn't THAT huge so I hope it will be ok.

Hope no one minds if I add my To Do list....it has expanded!! But I have written down absolutely everything I need to remember this week (I hope!)

    TODO LIST

[*]Sort out ipod playlist for dinner
      [*]Pick ‘entrance’ song
[*]Speak to DJ (when? he is meant to have phoned!)
      [*]Collect engagement ring on Thursday
[*]Pick up parcel (BMs presents) on Thursday
[*]Tidy house, make beds for guests, order Ocado delivery
[*]Manicure, pedicure, waxing 10am on Thursday
      [*]Rehearsal 5pm Friday
[*]Continue practising first dance in shoes every evening!
[*]Fold orders of service (when OH has printed them off at work)
[*]Adjust seating plan to reflect last minute change, write new guest’s place card
      [*]Chase up evening guests
[*]Confirm timings of the day with photographer
[*]Pick up dry cleaning on Thursday
[*]OH to ring Moss Bros and pay for suits over the phone
[*]Boys to try on suits on Thursday
      [*]Wrap/finish sorting gifts, write cards
      [*]Pack for honeymoon
[*]Print lots of copies of readings
Most of those things are very insignificant. The only things stressing me out slightly are folding the orders of service (that is not going to be fun!) and doing the ipod playlist for dinner. I was going to do Rat Pack stuff but then I have been listening to it and decided it is not the right thing after all. So I am back to square one - no idea what to do! Argh!

Hope everyone else's plans are going well :DFOUR SLEEPS FOR ME!!

Daisy, is your DJ the recommended one? If so, they only called me on the Tuesday before.

I'm back at work and it feels like such a comedown! Photos are starting to appear though and of the ones I've seen so far there's only one i don't like which is great for me!

Ppink - your packing list for the hen do sounds intriguing, you'll have to let us know what it is they've planned for you!

Gem - good luck for Friday!

I did mine a couple of weeks ago! Just wanted everything sorted. I have got one change (cousin's fiancee deciding not to come, so other cousin bringing a friend instead) but I have just told the person involved which table she is on and told her to ignore the seating plan. :)

They were! When I spoke to him he asked lots of questions about styles of music we liked and didn't like. I asked him to play pretty much any request as long as it wasn't anything incredibly cheesy with actions (i.e Macarena), and gave them a list of songs I'd really like to have over the course of the night. I figured people would dance to songs they'd requested so it was a way of keeping people on the dancefloor! They played everything on my list at some point and kept the dancefloor busy until 1am. No complaints at all! The dancefloor and backdrop looked great and the dancefloor made my dress look really pretty.

Oh glad it was good :) Though I bet it wasn't just the dancefloor making your dress look pretty! :D:rotfl:

Argh, I haven't made any lists of songs or anything. Mind you, the DJ is only playing for 2 hours after the band so hopefully it will be ok!

I'm sure they'll call tomorrow Daisie, probably just catching up after the long weekend. You must be so excited otherwise though!!

PPink - hope you enjoy your hen do!

Laura - I love the macarena, am definitely going to be there in my dress jumping about :D, funny how we all have different tastes!

Gem - best of luck for Friday! I'm sure it'll all go fabulously!

Butterfly - What's up with your venue? Hope they stop it, whatever it is!

I've finished another make :) Wrist corsages for the flowergirls and a head band for the newest niece.

My turn for a brain dump!! Today has been a funny day, OH has a cold.. nooooooo!!!! Really hope he can get rid of it before we go!
Have been quite productive when not running around making lemsips etc, finalised info with the celebrant for the reception and the house lady in Vegas. I also spoke to my aunt re reception RSVPs, she and my cousins aren't coming :( Bit sad about that but I wouldn't want mum to be upset (long history there) so it's probably for the best.
Getting a bit frustrated with the situation between mum and dad, wishing more than ever he'd not said anything until after the wedding! Am so worried there's going to be an atmosphere, and not even between him and mum, more like him and my brother or sister =/ I've also morphed into a full go-between passing messages between them all, it's driving me bonkers! And breathe!!!!!

        Anyway to-do list...

Tomorrow at lunch I'll be writing names on place cards and escort cards. Also need to pin a note to the board inviting workmates to reception for a drink after the meal.

Tomorrow after work I'll be packing and having a quick visit with a friend.

Thursday lunch I'll be finishing off the table numbers and signs.

Thursday after work I'll be going to the shops with mum to get the last bits (groom's shirts and my stockings and probably more stuff I've forgotten)

Friday lunch I'll probably be working to get everything handed over/finished off before I go

Friday evening is the meeting with the venue, quick drink with friends and then hopefully getting some sleep before the flight at 9.30am on Saturday... Phew! Am having a mild panic about the venue meeting, worried that they'll turn around and say we can't do X or Y or Z... Must try not to stress, I'm sure it'll be fine :o

The display frame, boxing up the tables stuff and the gum paste flowers will have to wait until we get back, have just run out of time!

Before we go we/I also need to fit in:
        Collecting grooms suit
        Visiting grooms parents
Posting off music list and cheque to DJ
Emailing planner re any outstanding info
Want to tidy room and change sheets so we come home to a nice clean place.
        Chasing 2 outstanding RSVPs
        Waxing appointment tomorrow evening

Right and on that note I'm off to bed, hopefully without any odd wedding dreams!
