22" Monitor

Hi all, I'm after recommendations for a 22"/21.5" monitor.
Not for me, I'm too tight.:D
Budget is only £100 absolute max, so not expecting top quality. It will be just for everyday surfing, office type stuff.
No gaming or films, perhaps Youtube.
Other things to consider, it needs to have VGA/DVI, but HDMI is not essential.
Prefer not to have LED backlight, read many reviews complaining of lightbleed.
No speakers required.
I've got a basic 19" Acer and I've been well pleased with it, so have been looking at the Acer V223HQVbd at cclonline
Also Benq G2220HD or Hanns G HH221dp from ebuyer.
As usual you may have other suggestion.;)
p.s. forgot to add that graphics are integrated but may be fitting a simple card, pci-e x1 and pci-e x16 slots are available, psu will be fine. Perhaps something like THIS ?

Morning Spud, a firend bought a Benq (22" If I remember correctly) and she see seems delighted with it thus far, I did wonder about the Radeon card too, for my old desktop, I believe it doesn't draw too much juice but I would like like other opinions on that too.
P.S. a croissant is a little thing that spits out formic acid.

I know very little about graphics cards, so did wonder if the onboard (Asrock mobo IIRC) would be ok.
Benq does seem to do well in all the reviews. I put in a Hanns G, because a friend uses a 4:3 19" in his office, and I've always thought it pretty good for the money.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

Sounds like it's going to be a Benq.
I also found a thread with, I think, esuhl praising them.
Anyone care to comment re the graphics card?
Will probably order it tomorrow evening through Topcash.Move along, nothing to see.0 -

Best thing to do would be to see how well the on board card fares with the new monitor. Otherwise the Novatech card you linked would be fine for general use.0 -

Yup, that was the intention.

Sorry to be a pain.

Just checking prices before buying and I see cclonline has the same model about a quid cheaper.
However it gives a slightly different manufacturers number, 9H.L3RLN.IBU against the oyyy sites model 9H.L3RLN.IBE.
Am I worrying too much?
It's particularly important to get this purchase spot on. The reason I was looking at cclonline is that I already have an account there, and I'm trying to control the number of sites I deal with.
Also, according to Amazon, whilst this model is still available it is now superseded by the GL2250 (Ignoring the other stuff on the page). Clearer spec HERE

BenQ are brilliant, im using one right now (The same one you posted above http://www.ebuyer.com/248927-benq-g2220hd-full-hd-tft-lcd-21-5-dvi-d-monitor-9h-l07la-tbe, but bought from amazon) But if you want to watch movies and films on it, you will need speakers, as it doesn't have any built in. But you can get a cheap pair fm anywhere until you want to get some proper onesTech Savvy Student trying to help and learn
