I guess I have the benefit of living in an area where being Jewish isn't unusual (Southern Hertfordshire), although i was brought up in North Manchester and experienced the occasional bad confrontation near Heaton Park... Apologies for the 'troll' comment btw
Good luck finding a new job. I can't say i've ever hid my Jewish background (even though i'm barely observant) and it's very sad what has happened to you. If something has happened outside of work you should really consider reporting it to the police0
