I am wearing a tea length dress, when I started dress shopping I wanted the full princess dress but I tried on loads and never got that 'the one' feeling. I saw this dress hung up in the shop and thought wow but didn't think it would suit me, I'm only 5'2 do it is a bit longer than what it should be but I love it

This is my dress but mine is ivory

I'm found these shoes but not sure if they are bling enough, I'm wearing a birdcage veil which is attach to a headband with bow so kind of ties in nicely

I saw these advertised in a mag, could be worth a look

Wow that dress is stunning and is just what I was looking for!!! Is it a Kitty & Dulcie? It's not on their website and they say they only sell online??

That one's a Justin Alexander, gorgeous isn't it?!

Ian Stuart does a couple of lovely shorter dresses too, and many other designers will let you customise length. :T

  • That justin Alexander is beautiful. I've fallen in love with the Mark Lesley 2108, just need to get my bridesmaid opinion etc. But I want corset back, so am going to see how much it will be to get it made

  • Another one here for tea length dress. I'm also small and look like I'm wearing a child dressing up in their mother's clothes in full length dresses.

I just figure that for general moving about, dancing etc they are so much more practical. We're getting married in Scotland and it's by a beach so I didn't want to be hitching my dress up all the time. It also means I can wear some really funky shoes!

    If you're interested, here's mine

    It's the Camelia one.

Interesting that so many of us brides choosing tea-length dresses are shorter :)
    (I'm 5ft2.5 - very important half inch!)
