BlackBerry Curve/Bold/Torch

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520, I don't think it has 3G. I'm looking at getting another BlackBerry but I'm not sure which one. I want it mainly for facebook, IM, emails and of course calls and SMS. Which one should I go for, the curve (newer version), bold or torch.

Thanks for any advice.

You don't have 3G, so any one of the BlackBerrys you mention will be faster - but apart from that will be broadly the same as the current phone you have.

If you use it at home or somewhere where you can get Wifi access, it's even better - but still the whole facebook experience would be better on an iPhone or an Android (speaking as someone who has a Bold2).

I'd take the curve if you are happy with what you have now. It's pretty cost effective, gives you much of what you have already, and will be faster.

Id say definitely the Bold 9780. It has a killer keyboard and build quality, 3G, and does Facebook, IMs, emails and calls and SMS fantastically well. Note BlackBerries are IM challenged i.e. no Viber or Skype but you probably know that already, Whatsapp is good for cross platform text chatting and BBM is solid for cross Berry.
The battery life is much much better with OS6 devices than the newer BlackBerries and you can get some fantastic deals as well.
Theres very little advantage to the OS7 BlackBerries they bring not much apart from a DOA operating system thats a mild upgrade at best and a much higher price point with an inferior camera on the latest Bold.
I bought my 9780 at e2save.com and got a free 9780 with 500 mins, 500MB blackberry data and unlimited texts for 16 quid a month after refunds. Go through topcashback for even more cash back.
