agressive emails

Some bidders are quite aggressive and it does put me off a bit.

In the course of my business I often acquire things that are not something i know anything about, so I do as much research as I can and list what I know but with an apology that this is a bit out of my field.

I am selling a widget , completely new to me and I had some questions, which I replied to and posted it up on my listing. I just got what I think is a rather aggressive email saying that my answers to the previous questions are rubbish and that when the buyer asked 'size' he obviously didn't mean the external size he meant the internal size as that is all that matters. He also finished by saying that he wishes amateurs would stay out of this specialist market.

I have responded saying that I clearly responded saying that the 'external' size was X and so was not intending to mislead anyone, and I have posted the response on my listing and blocked that bidder.
I'm just wonderign whether this user would prefer me to just throw away the stuff that I know nothing about.

Maybe if he didn't have such a small 'widget' he'd have a lady friend to spend the evening with tonight.

    Arghhh

I think my item is cursed. I've had another ranty email on the same item from a completely different person. All exclamation marks and capital letters telling me that I have blocked him and he can't bid and what the hell do I think I am doing and how dare I.

This item has caused me more trouble so far than all my other items did for the last year.

Not quite. I use the word widget in its old form to mean an unspecified thing to avoid stating what it is I actually sell.

Well my item sold and for more than I anticipated, and it went to someone who hadn't even asked a question.

Have you blocked him or is he mistaken?

I checked my blocked logs and he was automatically blocked for having 2 or more NPB strikes, he's been trying to bid all afternoon
