virgin media cable package

hi can anyone advice on cable broadband is it as easy to instal
a rerouter to get wireless broadband
i know the phone line option is easy but not sure if cable is the same
also any feedback on virgin i believe its the old ntl

Yeah, all you need is a broadband router (make sure its not an ADSL router which has ADSL modem built in). Virgin (ntl) will supply the modem.

Broadband routers are much cheaper than ADSL routers.

Plug the modem into the router and set up the router to accept dynamic IP and away you go.

I've had no problems with ntl

We had what was Telewest before it switched over, and we use a wireless router for our broadband, we have got 3 computers running off it and it was easy to install. I didnt do it personally, my BF did, but hes not all that computer savvy and did it no probs.
