Immunosupressants vs job requiring Public Transport

As an aside, have you tried looking on sites like "parklet" for contract parking. I've managed to get parking near enough the centre of Bristol for around £100 per month which whilst still £100 is a lot better than daily car park rates. Quite often premises will have surplus spaces which they rent out, my current space is in the car park owned by a big store that never needs all its parking spaces, but I've seen ones attached to apartment blocks, under offices and even under a hotel. There is another site as well but I can't remember it at the moment. You can register on there and they'll send you an email if anything new comes in within a defined search area.Adventure before Dementia!0

I totally agree with you as i have methotrexate for psoriasis an hubby is on way more immuno suppressants for a transplant and we carry on normal, just avoid people who are sneezing or coughing around us and we have been fine. Both myself and my husband take these for a better quality of life and dont let them dictate us.
Everyone reacts differently and experiences different side effects. Glad it's working for you, but I get side effects of constant tiredness, memory loss and susceptibility to pretty much every bug within a 50 metre radius. It's still better than not taking it, however.
Could be worse though. One of the listed side effects of methotrexate is "sudden death".WestonDave wrote: »As an aside, have you tried looking on sites like "parklet" for contract parking. That sort of thing is my final resort if none of the other options pan out.0 -

Ive just looked at that park at my house site for my town, god there are some greedy people around, one is advertising her drive way for £46 a day, thats how much it would cost to park in the town center carparks all day and the drive is way outside of town so why would anyone pay to park there then have to get themselves into town?
Apart from that one the others are really cheap between £4-10 per day, its a brilliant idea and Ive never heard of it before but well worth a look in the area you want.0 -
Well it turns out the site they were going to move us to has just decided they're not interested in letting us use it so this whole thread has been a non-issue in the end. Thanks to all those who offered help and support anyway.
The site they're now moving us to has different problems, but given the way this thread went, I think I'll just work on those on my own, especially since posting about it would come pretty damn close to uniquely identifying me and I'm not too keen on that idea.0
