Oh,ok, how about we just ask FK again? He did such a good job of this thread, it seems a shame to waste his obvious talents by looking elsewhere. Perhaps he can come up with an equally good name for the next 11+ thread??

Ouch, it's certainly going up in price. I think Belgium is still the cheapest compared to the prices people have posted on here.

    try luxemborg ;)

Well, our friends Steve & Andy came over at 9 am and we went down to the car boot and they helped me to sort out stuff in one of the storage units. We got loads done due to their hard work, and a mate came and took away some items that he'd given Mr 3Dogs to sell for him. All in all, good progress made :j :j

After a bite to eat, we went over to the hospital to see Mr 3Dogs who was ok. He'd been up in his chair for 2 hours this morning and was lying in bed reading a book. The doc came to see us and ran through what had happened, what the position was, and what is going to happen. When they'd gone in to drain off the infection from his appendectomy op, they found that he had a large abcess on his bowel which had gone through the wall of the bowel and fused to other tissue  They dealt with this and inserted a drain to get rid of the infected fluid. They also found a golf ball size tumour which they's removed with part of the larger bowel, and fitted a stoma/coloscopy bag. As the cancer had spread from the bowel to the liver, part of which was also removed, this did mean that it was Stage 4, final , cancer and untreatable :(

Mr 3Dogs might be home on Monday, which is good news, and has to rest and recover from this operation, ready to meet with oncologist in 5-6 weeks time who will discuss the chemo options and the pros and cons of the treatment. Mr 3Dogs could then decide whether to have the chemo or not. The prognosis is that he has between 6 months and 2 years left, though this was only an estimate and varied by many things including the strength of the patient. The doc said that he considers him strong both mentally and physically :)

Mr 3Dogs was quite pleased with this prognosis as he was worried that doc would say only a couple of months or so, meaning he'd have just enough time to get his head around it, when it would be over. He said that we must make the most of the time he has left and enjoy life :A

I have done the round of texting and phoning, updating everyone with this new information and now just having a glass of wine before going to bed. I have been VERY tired today so lads aren't coming over till 1 pm tomorrow to do more sorting down at the car boot before going over to see Mr 3Dogs again

    Hello 3dogs

Can I just say how much I admire you.

No moaning about the strain this is taking on your goodself.

Just thought and consideration for others.

:( This is becoming a repeat post tonight :( how rotten of Mission Control to do this to folk
I like Bootsalebargains have not posted on there for over a week. I also did screen prints of my posts ;) If they do this to me I will be :mad::mad: & I have proof everything i posted was not garbage.

Maybe as some tips are not 'original' they use that as the excuse. How many of us have a genuine original tip?

    Off to look at mine.........

We've all had the same sticker prize removed by looks of it which was the favourite shop tip one. Looked through my posts and think the one that was deleted was a shopping tip that said to check beforeishop.com before shopping to see if can get any coupons. I'm thinking they have removed it as advertising another/rival website.
