If you buy the silver Aloe vera one, you can put your T receipt into price check and you should get a £4.99 JTD voucher back. A few people have reported that Superdrug have taken the voucher too but it's hit and miss i think.
And re: DTD querying, it's easier if you put it through in a bigger shop (i.e. more than £20 worth), then you would be less likely to notice the amount. Bluff, bluff, bluff. I've never been asked yet. I find that taking my two year old son with me tends to get me off the hook - who has time to check the amount when a two year old is climbing out of the trolley?!! :rotfl:
Lol I got asked that when I had a DTD for £150! And the total bill was actually less than that as I spent £4 more and used a £5 off voucher!!!

Found ood sel on Sensations crisps the large pack 2 for £2.00 and went through and £3.50.
Have never done DTD at this store and they were so rude. I was first advised they have changed there policy and no DTD anymore and Tesco stores are having the signs remade. Then another CS agent advised me as I did not walk out of the store it dooesn't count and not entitled to it.
I accepted the JTD refund and have just called T's to double check there policy.
He advised they still do DTD and no plans on changing it and you don't need to leave the store.
He apologised and gave me a 100 clubcard points which s the difference they owed me and he was going to ring the store and advise them of there policies.
Wombled 3 receipts today 14 clubcard points and an £80 shop to put through the price check so fingers crossed.
Just had a very similar experience. Found the Duracell batteries in the toy department. Amazingly they didn't go through at B!!!F so off to CS. No we don't do DTD any more, sign is now covered with white tape at the appropriate place. Came home rang HO yes they do still do DTD go back and tell them. Got a different CS but no won't do DTD, but stood my ground said HO said you do. Called a duty manager who allowed it this time!!! How do they make up and change all these rules all the time. Do we need to start firing off emails to Phil to get this clarified? Or is this really the end of DTD as we know and love it? Also managed the DTD at my local Metro although I did have to prompt her, so kind MrT gave me free batteries and my money back twice! Thank you to battery OP!0 -
If I have a big DTD and they ask why I didn't notice before I paid I shall say there was a queue at the till and rather than hold people up I just paid and went to CS to get it sorted out.
That said, I don't remember anyone asking me before - to be honest I don't think they care.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
