I have a slight confession ..... I'm actually a member of Mensa
I've a slight confession too.......I'm not
Mind you....I've never applied to join, so they could be missing an absolute genius...:rotfl:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Cheers Jes but I decided to visit the ' freezer of whoopsied delights ' and dug out these .
The young lad was unloading and reducing about 4 boxes of these beauties ...and because they were B1g1F and reduced we picked them up at 2 packs for 60p .
Still catching up so apologise if this has been said already.
Was indeed a 'Perfect catch'0 -
Approx £160 on gift cards, 49 * £1.99 cards and a £12 outlay.
Give or take a few pennies! So 10 full gift cards and one with around £10 on it.
How did I do?
Actually you got it wrong
......by 12p
10 full ones and one with £9.88.
Well done clever clogs :T:T:TMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Ok - completely off topic. Mega declutter going well. Kids can't manage the out of date mini rolls!!!:rotfl:
But my mad question is I have a stack of old jam jars (clean obv!!) My neighbor has just said I should add them to my car boot pile. My question is :Really? These would sell? Opinions would be much appreciated!!0 -
Well, I may not have £150 WHSmiths gift cards but I did just win a pack of 4 Rocky Road Rice Krispies Squares.0

Had a very willing accomplice at WHS today. I mean Tesco's are stupid, but at least they don't let you stand at the till using their own money to make yourself money.
£125 of gift cards and a loads of hideous cards I don't want later and that really has to be one of the most bizarre shopping experiences of my life! :j
For anyone still out and about there's a DD thank you card, EE moneycard (tall thin with rounded top that says Moneycard at the top) and EE 'thinking of you' cards (square in wrappers)0 -
Well that was a fun afternoon at whsmiths.
Missus got a couple at branch A, then I got asked to leave branch B after only 3! (Lol).
Branch C were great and let me take a load up in one go.
Branch D was the same, and that was the manager serving!
Back to branch A and the manager claims to have had a memo from head office stating you can't buy a gc with a gc
A fun day, loads of cards, and 72 quid on gc :-)0 -

Quite possibly. I will be making jams and chutneys this year, so am saving as many jars as poss0 -
Of all this talk about people being a member of Mensa, reminds me of when i thought about doing the test. 50% of me thought it was a good idea to try, 20% of me couldn't be bothered, 20% of me thought that other people would laugh if they heard I had applied and 20% of me thought it was boost my ego.
Is this a valid statement?I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

If you joined the Daily Mail Rewards Club, they recently sent out a 3 months free membership Tastecard (50% off at participating restaurants). People are selling theirs on Ebay. It never ceases to amaze me how some people will sell anything while others will buy anything.
Unbelievable what trades on ebay(includingHC shoes:rotfl:) Anyone want to buy mine? Tastecard that is, not my shoes:rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0
