I'm still confused by this, how much money do I need to take with me ?
I understand the first bit buy one greeting card & buy a £15 giftcard for £12. Then what I buy another greetings card & a £15 giftcard with the £15 on the first card ?
SSMC won't let me print any more vouchers I have printed the Boots ones yet & have one more Tesco to print, haven't even got all the stickers yet. It says I've reached my print limit.
The cheapest cards are the little ones with funny animal poses on the front and no words inside - £1.75 each. I bought one of those and a £15 gift card paid out a total of £11.75 and was given a gift card for £15. I bought another £1.75 card plus a £15 gift card - I paid with my £15 gift card and was given that card back with a running credit of £3.25 left on it and also a new £15 gift card. At that point I had spent a total of £11.75 (on the first transaction) and had a £15 gift card, a £3.25 gift card and 2 greeetings cards. After that I just kept buying the same and paying the £11.75 due each time with the little bit left on the old gift card and the balance on the last £15 card. (eg Transaction 3 took the £3.25 of the first card and the remaining £8.50 off the £15 gift card - I then had £6.50 left on the old card and a new £15 gift card plus 3 greetings cards still all for the initial £11.75 spend).
I found it easier to do a pile one after the other, given that I had a wonderful SA, and just stack the complete cards up on one side.ELITE 5:2

bensonsmum wrote: »You start of with cash at say cost of £12.50 you do the transaction 7 times which gives you 2 x £15 gift card plus one with odd amount, you then put one away and use the one with the odd amount and then one of the £15 gift cards to start the process again so in effect
7 x transactions = 2 x £15 gc
+ one with odd amount
put one away start again 1 x gc in bag
7 transactions = 2 x £15 gc
+ one with odd amount
put one away start again now 2 x gc in bag
7 transactions = 2 x £15 gc
+ one with odd amount
put one away start again now 3 x gc in bag
7 transactions = 2 x £15 gc
and by this time all the odd amounts
have added up to approx £15odd so you now have the three cards which you had in your bag and the three cards from the last transaction which should then give you £90 in gc
Sorry this is so long winded, im sure that someone may be able to explain this to you a bit easier but if you understand this i hope it helps xxx
Hi Bensonsmum , many many thanks for the explanation , I don't think we'll be trying it tho ' .
