Hi, can anyone tell me if there's a minimum amount of items you need on your list to be able to get a JTD or can it just be say 2 items? TIA xx

I was brave this morning! Took 2 cards to start with and after buting the first card and gift card, I then used the card to buy the second card in a separate transaction. Then had a chatty conversation with the SA about the fantastic offer - she seemed OK (but a bit puzzled) with it so I said I would go and get a couple more. As she was, by then, having a good laugh about it all and they weren't busy, I then took a couple of batches of 6 to the till and had them done one after the other. After the first 4 cards I just used up the smaller credits first.

Worked a treat and all 3 staff members were laughing and joking about it - they hadn't had anyone else in doing it though. If anyone is planning a 'shop' I would go asap as I suspect the plug may get pulled during the day.

Manay many thanks for the heads up and tips - threads gone so I can't thank the OP properly.

I'm still confused by this, how much money do I need to take with me ?

I understand the first bit buy one greeting card & buy a £15 giftcard for £12. Then what I buy another greetings card & a £15 giftcard with the £15 on the first card ?

SSMC won't let me print any more vouchers I have printed the Boots ones yet & have one more Tesco to print, haven't even got all the stickers yet. It says I've reached my print limit.

Can also confirm the Smiths greeting card/gift card offer is still working this morning. 18 cards and 4 £15 gift cards for an initial £12.50. Many thanks to the OP and all who posted advice. I initially bought one card & gift card and then tried using that gift card to pay ofr the next one. When it worked, I asked if there was a limit on how may times I could do this. SA said no and they had had a phone call about this but it was still ok to go ahead so I got another 16. SA was fine about it. Am so pleased! Thank you again OP.

Hi QPR10 your one & only payment will be £10 for the gift card + the value of your card. Then you buy your next card & gift card using the gift card you just purchased which will leave a balance of around £2.50 depending on price of your card.

Repeat the process by using up the balance of the previous gift cards.
After about the 7th card you should have two gift cards with the whole amount of £15.:T HTH

I would allow £13 for the first transaction, but if you can find a cheap card for £2 or less in WHS then use this card first - but its pretty hard to find a card for less than £2 IMHO.

You will then have a gift card for £15 in your hands - make sure that when you do the first transaction you tell them you want to take advantage of the offer of buy a greetings card and purchase a £15 gift card for the price of £10.

You then use your £15 gift card to make the next purchase. The odd amount you have left over use this on your next purchase before using a full £15 gc again and so on.

28 greetings cards and £90 worth of gift cards all for £12.70 which was my initial outlay hth xx
