I love Holland too. I think the dutch are really nice folks - nothing seems to bother them too much. Haven't been there for a few years but maybe start thinking about a trip there soon.:j

I used to work for a Dutch company and all the top ones were complete (think door nobs ;)) but the actual workers were right down to earth. One of the guys was called Appy but everyone called him Happy (looked like a dwarf too) as he was so cheerful and full of the joys of spring. It didn't matter how bad things were, how much mud he had to lie in to fix something, how much covered in oil and crap he got he was always jolly. Another one of the guys did any job that came his way from welders mate to tidying up to driving the bulldozers. It turned out he was one of the top ones but only sat behind a desk when he really needed too. Salt of the earth he was too.

Happy, how can I restore an iphone from my computer back up (according to itunes it saves all back ups!) as the one on itunes for last week won't do it, so I have had to do a restore from March 2011. It's restored latest phone numbers but not photos or text. Any help in easy to understand language (I'm not techie!) would be greatly appreciated. I want all the pics of my 9 month old GD back.

As long as you ran a back up recently (it does this when you sync) then you should be fine.

Give me 5 minutes and I'll do a step by step guide for you.

Can you do the following for me....

    Open iTunes

Connect your phone by cable, not WiFi.

Click once on your iPhone down the left hand side
    ScreenShot2012-02-26at142105.png

You should see a page like this
What option is selected in the one I've circled?

I'm going to be about for another half an hour then I have to go out. I can't really help unless I know where your back ups are. If they are on iCloud then you need to restore your phone from iCloud and not your computer. Restoring from iCloud is not something I've done so I'll look in to it to find out how. Could be easy enough, but could be a bit long winded.:(

That is so sweet FK, what a lovely image :A and it must have worked coz I had a really good night's sleep ;)

Mr 3Dogs was still under the influence of the morphine today, so, although we talked, he kept dozing off. Nothing to report except that he is drinking water today after just having sips so far, and for the first time, he could have something off the drinks trolley - he was offered black tea, black coffee or cocoa and had a cup of black tea which he said was wonderful and the best drink he'd ever had  I don't know when he can move onto clear soup, milk in drinks, ice cream, yoghurts, etc.

please make sure mr 3dogs takes it easy when eating. as his stoma is so very new. make sure he chews his food properly. and (for now) avoids foods like mushrooms, carrots, peanuts as these can easily cause a blockage. fizzy drinks will cause extra wind. marshmellows thicken up the output.also dont panic if mr3dogs eats beetroot. my late hubby was on the phone dialling 999 when i had eaten that. it doesnt digest well so in my "bag" was what looked like blood clots (beetroot) and the red/purple colour beetroot leaves. late hubby thought i must be bleeding internally. :o
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

I wouldn't have thought that Happy would take any notice of one lone person making a totally inane comment on here. Happy knows that we all love him.
