Argh  ... I've lost my BIG receipt (the one with my grouse and 5 toothpastes) ...

... I'm posting this here in the hopes that I'll notice that it's right here in front of me, under my nose.

I hope it turns up dcon , at least you have the Grouse on hand
yes... These were my only items on the receipt xx

Cheers West is Best , I just wondered as 99% of the receipts we put thru TPC and friends and families (the Womble part ) and if we ever get to the point where we do a proper shop it'll be a good lesson to keep all the positive TCP items on 1 receipt . Cheers .:)

  • I have reassessed my shopping list for today and taken out all laundry products no matter how good a deal they are. I need to be using up supplies and stop building them. I think we sometimes have a bit of a siege mentality, especially if we are having hard times financially, which leads to stockpiling. One thing I am learning (Nikkilala always said this) is that at some point in the not too distant future there will be another offer, another good deal, another glitch, so I need to draw the line somewhere.

Somewhere on MSE there is a "using up toiletries" challenge thread - I think we may all need a using up laundry and household cleaning products challenge thread instead.

Strange thing is that since all these brilliant cleaning offers have been around, my house isn't any cleaner. In fact, it is probably messier because I spend more time online trying to work out best way to use up vouchers etc. Think I may have lost the plot somewhere along the line, so as it's now a nice sunny day, I'm off out to enjoy it.

same here rooted nomad , we(snap & i ) don't buy the products to clean the house (perish the thought) ,we buy them because they are cheap and we can .

we are firm believers that some places are overclean in comparison to when we children .

    Have a nice day .

I'm not being funny but have you followed the installation instructions fully? When I got my HP it was a case of plugging in the printer, insert the ink cartridges then insert the CD on the laptop and it was literally Bob's Yer Uncle from then on.

My garage cupboard is heaving under the strain of softener :o I stocked up when it was working out at 5p before Xmas. I got 8 more this week because they were free. Might go out later and add up how many 'washes' I have and see how long that should last. I can donate some to my brother when he gets his own place but I think some of the stuff will go off before I get to use it so bar trying to flog it, anyone any suggestions for where it could be donated?
