Just want to say to everyone, make every day special! Today is such a beautiful day. Let's really make the most of the things that are free!!!

I am actually really choked after reading the blow that one of our members has been dealt this morning. :(

It has inspired me to re evaluate some of my priorities.

    X

    I completely agree
  • I'm still catching up but oh...3dogs: I am so sorry to read your sad news. I haven't been on here long, but in that time you have really had some traumas to deal with, and now this. My thoughts are with you and Mr3dogs. I have no doubt you will be towers of strengths to one another, even at the lowest moments. Thinking of you. Mrs Jx

I think this is the point Londinium33 was trying to make the other night but fell on deaf ears...

you can't factor in the JTD Voucher in your shop, (should you get it) you take off the next shop...

Yes, partially, but more significantly despite people taking time to patiently explain, Londinium seemed to miss the point as to why folk are going after jtd in the first place, which was his/her original question I think?

ie I want to buy a widget that costs £2 at T and it only costs £1 at A and the two items compare under Pricecheck. I have a £1 MOC for this widget but it is store specific to T.

Of course I can buy it at A for £1, only if I have an A nearby. But I can also buy it at T for £1 using my MOC (which I can't use at A). Therefore the point of going for jtd is that I can get that £1 back, therefore getting the item for free.

By using jtd people can get a double bite - the Asda bargain prices and additional money off. Lots have been doing this for some time (and similar for APG and Brandmatch) but jtd is particularly popular now because A is not participating in the SSM promotion and there is a deluge of SSM mocs (won't hurt to thank West is Best again for highlighting the promo in this thread!). AND on top we have had the £5 conditional spends at T!

Sure it needs a bit of careful planning and sometimes Pricecheck throws a wobbly, but there are serious savings to be had with potential for lots of free products, so I for one think it is well worth the effort. I think this is the bit that fell on deaf ears in Londinium's case?

Right, really really do need to get those SSM MOCs printed today!

But the Persil Non Bio and Comfort Pure vouchers (the pdf ones NOT the SSM ones) mean that you can buy 56 washes of Persil and 42 washes of Comfort for a total of £4.90p.
