If you have any influence with the powers that be could you please ask them to do whatever needs to be done to automatically resize pictures if they are too big?

I love it when people post pictures and do not want to discourage that but it is annoying when the whole page then becomes much wider because of it and you need to keep scrolling across.

I read somewhere that it is a really small adjustment that could be made by the techies and I'm sure we would all appreciate it.

    Many thanks.

I agree with you on the pictures thing, the large ones really distort the forum and make it so difficult to read, and then lots of people quote the posted pic in their replies so the distortion goes on and on and on. It would really help if people didn't quote the picture part of the posts when they are replying otherwise it just repeats the problem over and over again.

The forum team are aware of the issues but it's not something that is easy to solve in this version of the forum software (so I'm told). However I do believe they are working on it so hopefully it will be resolved at some point

    Obviously my fault. Many Apologies.:o:o

Strangely enough, it didn't distort my page.
I uploaded the photo from photobucket but I don't know how to make it smaller. Any advice?

    :) evening Elite! :)

most important first: izzeyb I am soo sorry I forgot to answer you twice :o you were a star when I was in pain last week and really tried to help me, I hope you didn't feel ignored :o it's just that I mostly lurk on my phone and posting is a real pain and doesn't work always! it also doesn't help that I'm 20 pages behind most of the time! so now to answer your questions: the pain went Friday/Saturday and I'm all fine now :j didn't go back to the dentist yet(but I'm not gonna forget!) I will probably do it when we go home for Easter(but I'm a little afraid as last time I had a tooth removed I was in pain for a week! and it was over New Year's Eve! been taking painkillers all night and washing them down with vodka! :o:o:o:o) or I will go to the dentist that nikki suggested after we come back, but I will definitely get the tooth out :(
I hope yours is all well now too! :A sorry again and thank you :A

I'm also feeling much more positive today... (the lovely weather is probably also to thank! :j) Bf is not giving up his job just yet and had good day yesterday and today so I hope he will do all right... we also started to sort out our other issues and I hope we will work it out :)

I am soo going for a T round trip this weekend! I need lots of stuff(incl. a new printer, was thinking of the Epson SX4?? wireless, any good?) and could do with a bargain or 2  and want to plan something nice too maybe for Sunday, a walk around London, maybe lunch somewhere... :)

I LOVE spring, I want it now! It does me so good! :T hope everyone else is well! :)

off to catch up on today's posts! (only managed to read until last night's :o )

Hi, so glad you are okay now. Dont want to be alarmist, but just be careful how long you leave the tooth - maybe trying to last until Easter is a bit optimistic - once you have had an abscess, it really does need dental attention - I know from experience. One time when my pain went away I thought I wouldnt bother but it came back twice as bad and I had to go through the whole process of antibiotics again until it calmed down enough, and then had to have it out. If you get it sorted sooner rather than later, you may be able to save the tooth. xxx

No problem - as I said, it wasn't aimed at anyone in particularly but it is a regular issue.

I'm not familiar with photbucket but I always resize pictures in picnik to about size 300 x 300 if that is any help.
If you're not scared, you're not paying attention
  • Can't find the post now, but someone complained about not getting any coupons with the mailshot and being told it's random- I posted on T's FB wall with the same complaint, was also told it's random and this got this response via pm-
'Please can you send me the following details:
    Clubcard Number:,Account Holder’s Name:Address:Postcode:
I can check that you are opted in to receive offers through marketing in the post, and I will add 200 points to your account on this occasion as a gesture of goodwill.'

    Nice gesture!:T

The Persil Non Bio (28 washes) is £3.20 and the Comfort Pure (21 washes) is £1 at Mr T. For those with the vouchers, you can buy both for £2.45p. Don't forget they expire on 29/02/12.

Well that was a terrible experience:(

Use my £10 spend and then got out my £19.25 JTD voucher. Gave it to the SA and they quickly shouted to another member of staff. She stared at it and said, save transaction and we'll take him to CS:eek::eek::eek: then I was treated like a criminal and they whispered and said I didn't scan it as we never get them this high before. Acting like I was breaking the law somehow:eek::(:(

They accepted it finally but still very much upset tbh. I will not be stepping inside a tesco for a while. Having a break I think as I was shaking at CS:(:(

I know what people will say, phone HO but I'm not going to as I don't want to be on their radar.
