If you have any influence with the powers that be could you please ask them to do whatever needs to be done to automatically resize pictures if they are too big?

I love it when people post pictures and do not want to discourage that but it is annoying when the whole page then becomes much wider because of it and you need to keep scrolling across.

I read somewhere that it is a really small adjustment that could be made by the techies and I'm sure we would all appreciate it.

    Many thanks.

sorry I hadn't realised it altered the page, hopfully I have managed to make them smaller and still be able to see it.

    march wins - dog treats

Oh yes...didn't think of that... Damn!!
Will still have to use my usual one for any vouchers......but will still keep the MSE one for here. I can pinch some of HC's jokes without offending anyone!!!

    Thanks for reminding me :)

You could always change the name of the Purdita MSE FB account to something like Purdy Smith! Then use that account for SSM and things like that and keep your "proper" FB account for your real friends.

No problem at all and it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular.

Just got back from my local superstore, they have got loads of offers on the soft drinks , here's a few I can remember.

    12 330ml cans diet pepsi £2.44
    12 330ml cans coke zero £2.33*
7up 500ml 54p bogof ( various others on same offer)
4x 250ml bottles Tesco orange and tropical 54p
1.5l Sun-sip double strength apple and blackcurrant squash 50p

loads of other offers on the shelves but quite a few oos

    * none on shelf where sel is, but loads on the top shelf too high to reach and no one around to get them down  Lucky I didn't really want any :)

I'm sure someone posted about batteries being on b1g2f, but there was no such offer :(
    :(

Its the kids first ever pet and I feel really guilty, I should have thought about it and cut the ball and string off like you do. Will do a lot more research before I buy anything for him in the future.

So do you think I need to email the CEO with the complaint?

No need to feel guilty it's meant to be a safe toy!You shouldn't need to cut things off it for it to be safe for him to use:( I've just seen mine get their paws stuck in the string and when they do that they just pull and pull the wrong way you have to lift them up and move them forward to get them unstuck lol!

If it was me yes I would definitely complain, your kitten was playing with it and it shouldn't pose any kind of risk to his safety even if unsupervised...it's disgusting that he hurt himself using it so yes take your complaint as high as you can, chances are it could happen to someone else so I would do something about it...let us know what happens!:)

I agree with you on the pictures thing, the large ones really distort the forum and make it so difficult to read, and then lots of people quote the posted pic in their replies so the distortion goes on and on and on. It would really help if people didn't quote the picture part of the posts when they are replying otherwise it just repeats the problem over and over again.

The forum team are aware of the issues but it's not something that is easy to solve in this version of the forum software (so I'm told). However I do believe they are working on it so hopefully it will be resolved at some point
